Team Leader - Certificate

This certificate recognizes the skills and knowledge of people who are, or are seeking to be team leaders in the marine, marina, or composites industries OR those people who are experienced team leaders who wish to formally have their skills recognized.

This is for people who are self-starters and are able to work independently completing assessments using team leader evidence form the workplace and the evaluation of workplace practices.  Suitable for qualified tradespeople already working as team leaders to formally recognize their leadership skill, or an experienced tradesman and team leader who now wishes to gain recognition for their leadership skills.

Modules within this programme include: managing interpersonal conflict, supervise operations, apply problem solving techniques, apply time management methods, apply team building skills, leading a team, and strategies for positive workplace relationships.

  Entry Requirements

Legal eligibility to study in NZ (immigration status verified). Employed in a composite workplace. Minimum of 16 years of age. English language requirements.
