NZ Apprenticeship in Advanced Textiles

If you’ve completed the Level 3 Industrial Textiles – Fabrication or Trimming qualification, the Level 4 Apprenticeship is your next step toward becoming a fully qualified tradesperson.

This flexible, workplace-based programme builds on your existing skills and equips you with advanced technical and project expertise to work independently and take on leadership responsibilities.

It formalises your industry experience, expands your ability to manage complex projects, and positions you for progression into senior roles.

Core learning includes:

Project Management & Procurement: Oversee planning, materials and production scheduling.

You’ll then specialise in one of two strands:

Industrial Fabrication – Focus on advanced pattern development, welding, cutting, and large-scale textile construction.
