NZ Diploma in Vessel Technology Project Management (Level 5)

Project Management

The NZ Diploma in Vessel Technology Project Management is for professionals who want to build their capability and confidence in leading and delivering complex vessel technology projects in the marine, maritime and aerospace sectors, as well as in specialised technologies such as composites and industrial textiles.

What you will achieve:

  • Learn to initiate, plan, deliver, and close out real workplace projects while building a comprehensive portfolio of professional project documentation.

  • Develop expertise across all key project management areas including scope, time, cost, risk, quality and stakeholder management.

  • Complete the project lifecycle – from initiation and planning through to implementation, monitoring, controlling, and close-out.

  • Apply your learning directly to a project in your workplace, or work with real-world case studies if you’re new to project management.

  • Lead projects with tangible workplace results to improve project outcomes.

Designed for anyone involved in project work, from new project managers to experienced project management practitioners seeking formal recognition. It’s particularly relevant to the marine and aerospace industries, supporting the development and manufacture of vessels from boats and ships to rockets.

Specialised technology sectors will also benefit from this course. Whether you are managing large or small projects this course will support your career development.
